Hotels range from super lux to basic economy. There are many hostels in the city center to help you with your budget but still expect to pay north of $50/night or more in the summer months.
Reykjavik is closer than you think. Flight time is about 5 hours from the east coast. Most flights from the US arrive before 9 am, some arrive before 6am!
Getting to the city is easy. A Flybus costs about $20 and will get you into the center of town in 45 minutes. It is also a compact city which is easy to navigate on foot or public transport. In addition, magnificent countryside awaits just minutes away from the city center.Share this tour
