Whether you are new to solopreneurship or a seasoned entrepreneur, running a business can be lonely. We all have something to offer one another through our business experiences and we want to create a space to share and learn from one another.
This buzz session is designed to promote problem-solving and idea generation for you and your business. Through the power of conversation and shared experience, we will work together as a group and use our hive mind to help each other through blocks, learn from each other’s experiences and create new ideas that will help our businesses grow and thrive.
We strongly feel that exploration and movement are the inspiration for idea generation and problem-solving. We are staying in 3 story house in the heart of Lisbon, with a breathtaking view of the Tagus River. It’s a modern building that preserves some of the classic aspects of Lisbon architecture, like high ceilings, balconies and an outdoor breakfast area.
The home has 7 bedrooms (3 rooms are for singles and 4 are for sharing). The 5 bedrooms on the first and second floors have ensuite bathrooms and are equipped with Smart TVs with cable TV and internet access. The other 2 rooms are located in the loft.
The home is located in the Chiado neighborhood of Lisbon. You can pick your room during registration. The single rooms are available on a first-come-first-serve basis and cost $100 more for the duration of the trip.

Each participant should walk away with an action plan for some or all of their stated business challenges as well as the opportunity to create and maintain accountability partners.
It’s all about the business honey. Buzz buzz.
We are looking for women-led small to medium-sized businesses who have been in business ideally for 2+ years.
We do not want MLM, i.e. pyramid scheme enterprises. This includes, but is not limited to, companies such as Rodan and Fields, DoTerra, Beachbody, Herbalife & Amway.
In order to get a well-rounded group with varying experience levels, we are limiting participation to one job per industry i.e realtor, photographer, travel agent, etc.
Please contact us if you have any questions regarding the ideal business for this trip.
We will take into account the current state of your business and determine if you will be a good fit for the Business Buzz Session group.
We will have a Zoom call with each participant prior to registration to see if you are a good business fit.
We require each business owner to fill out a questionnaire describing their business, their relevant experiences and current business challenges.
Yes, we allocated the afternoons for personal exploration of Lisbon. Of course, you always have the choice to hang with the group and go to a wine bar (or two). Your head guide Megan, has been to Lisbon several times and knows many neighborhoods and restaurants to check out during our stay?
We listed out a rough sketch of each day’s activities. About a month before the trip date, an itinerary with a complete agenda will go out to everyone.
Once we have a better idea of the types of companies coming on this buzz session, we will build a complete itinerary.
We have rented out a huge 3 story house in Lisbon in the Chiado neighborhood of Lisbon. The space is amazing and will definitely get the creative juices flowing. Click here to see the home we are renting with photos of the rooms.
We are requiring all attendees to be fully vaccinated against Covid-19. Proof of vaccination will be required.
We will continue to monitor the travel requirements of Portugal leading up to the February trip. Please use this link for the most updated travel requirements on travel to Portugal for Americans.
Lindsey Miller owns a photography business and brings a unique perspective and expert eye to the Business Buzz Session.
Curiosity is my passion and I love experiencing new people, places and events through the lens of my camera. I first fell in love with photography when I began to travel almost 20 years ago – I loved being able to capture my travel experience on film (Yes, FILM!) and relive the memories after the trip. I decided to study photography and in 2010, I pursued it full time and have never looked back!
Over the years, I have had the experience of working in many different fields of photography. I have photographed important life events like weddings and family portraits. I’ve worked with corporate clients to document large conferences and incentive travel trips. I’ve worked with small businesses and entrepreneurs to create imagery to reflect their brands. I’ve photographed food and chefs to highlight restaurants for regional publications.
